Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Celebration

Today is the anniversary opening day of Disneyland.

I attended the Disneyland 50th Anniversary celebration back in 2005.
It was a blast!

They gave attendees special gold Mouse Ears embroidered with the July 17, 2005 date, a souvenir program and a commemorative 1955 Park map and guide.

The Governor was present at the morning opening ceremony with Art Linkletter and other special guests.

The cast members handed out cupcakes wrapped in gold cups and everyone sang Happy Birthday to Disneyland. I took a photo of my cupcake instead of eating it because I didn't want to dump at the Happiest Place on Earth.

It was great to enjoy a day of childlike fun. When I left Disneyland at 11:45 PM, the Park was STILL packed!
