Easter Cuppies by A Taste Of Whimsy

Easter Cuppies,

Easter is one of my favorite holidays.

All those little chicks and peeps and jelly beans.

A perfect time for creating cute and whimsical cupcake fun.

Here's a fun use of Marshmallow Peeps.

The bunnies are my favorite.

Pretty Cupcake Plushie,
originally uploaded by Reyney

This lil pink cupcake is a Pretty Plushie made by Reyney.

According to the description in her Etsy shop her plushie cupcakes are: "Handsewn pink and tan felt cupcake girl doll. Features a handpainted acrylic face with glitter eyelids (hard to see in photo). Pink and tan felt back. Topped off with pretty sequins, seed beads (sprinkles) and a ribbon. You can hang her as an ornament too!"

Unfortunately, the pinkies are sold, but a Vanilla one is still for sale in her Etsy store.

Adorable handmade cupcakes by this NYC art teacher!

This is a very stylish photograph. No doubt, much consideration went into memorializing this first cupcake by Brooklyn based Fabrizio & Martha.

Martha is aka Cherryspoon. You can read her blog here.

The chocolate starbursts are the perfect finishing touch.

A job well done!

These yummy looking chocolate cupcakes were a first for Fraulein Piberger of Berlin, Germany.

Cupcakes are a universal trend. Cupcakes need no translation. In any language the meaning is the same.

Cupcakes are love.

Here's another cupcake first.

Green tea cupcakes with green tea cream cheese frosting.

Baking your first cupcakes is a passage of life worthy of a photo op.

This is one of a series of photos documenting the step by step process of a cupcake in the making.

Thanks for sharing!

This photo really caught my eye. I love the unabashed pride in her accomplishment.

This is Sara.

This is Sara's first cupcake.

She baked it herself and even made her own frosting.

Please join me in welcoming Sara to the Wonderful World of Cupcakes!
