Graduation Cap Cupcakes

INGREDIENTS:

•· boxed cake mix

•· canned frosting

•· graham crackers

•· licorice strings or fruit strings

•· food coloring in school colors

•· Cupcake papers

•· M & M candies

PREPARATION:

Prepare the cupcakes according to box directions.

Remove cupcakes from oven and let cool completely.

Remove from the tins. Turn each cake upside down on a foil-lined cookie sheet.

Color frosting with food coloring, usually the school colors.

Spread frosting on the cupcake sides and some on top. Soften frosting in microwave to prevent crumbs from sticking.

Frost the graham cracker and stick on top of the cupcake. Using chocolate graham crackers is easier.

The entire masterpiece should now be entirely frosted.

Use frosting to attach the strings and m&m candy to the caps.
